November 15 - 21, 2004

Kostas got his first grade report back, it was Fantastic!! In most areas he received pluses (exceeded expectations) and some check marks (met expectations). No minuses (did not meet expectations) at all! They told us he will be doing more advanced work in the coming months. Here he is with his teachers, Ms. DeSousa (his main first grade teacher) and Mr. Humes (his main 2nd grade teacher now):


Kostas is anxious for his 7th Birthday coming up on December 3rd. He also has invited his classmates Kyle, John and Rex to come over next Saturday November 27 to have a little BDay celebration with them.

Mom took the kids to watch Bern and Antony get their black belts from Keith Hafners Karate who runs a very commercialized operation, he is all over the TV cable commercials and has been spamming us in junk mail for a very long time. We like Kostas to learn from Master Kim.

Mom and Dad left the kids with Simon and Maggie on Saturday night and went out to Detroit to celebrate our 11the wedding anniversary. We went out to dinner to Fishbones in Greektown and then got a room at the Renaissance Marriott with a very nice view of the Detroit River and Windsor, Canada on the other side:
