We had several pics ready for this week's weblog but somehow the settings of the pics in Dad's phone were changed to small size pics...therefore, they all came out useless and we are not posting any for your viewing pleasure. We promise we will make up in next week's blog!
Kostas again had a fever spike on Monday and Dr. Walters prescribed yet another antibiotic.
It was picture day at Perry School on Tuesday and Kostas dressed very nicely all by himself, including a tie!
We kept him away from swimming all this week just to make sure he gets over his coughing/congestion.
For the first time on Wednesday Kostas got to lead the Tae Kwon Do class in warmups and introduction. At every class the kid with the highest level of belt gets to do that and they all line up based on their belt level...Kostas is progressing very nicely.
Dad had soccer games at Milan High School on Wednesday. He was hoping to finally have a Fall boys soccer season bo by without getting wet or cold...well, it was not meant to be, it was very windy and cold and some rain which stopped when the second game started.
Dad visited a local Toastmasters chapter on Thursday and is going to be joining it to work on his public speaking skills, a goal he had for a very long time.
On Friday Kostas received his blue belt in Tae Kwon Do!
We skipped the Saturday soccer game, it was raining all day on Friday and it was just too cold.
On Saturday evening we visited Erik Thompson's house, a coworker of Mom and a client of Dad, in Pinckney, MI. They just had a baby daughter and finished their basement so they invited a whole bunch of people over. A great time was had by all.
On Sunday Simon and Maggie brought over a birthday cake for Mom because they will not be around next week. Mom's birthday is on October 22.
Mom has been working around the house rearranging it for almost all week and it is starting to look really nice.
Kostas has been feeling fine since the fever spike on Monday and the congestion is starting to disappear.
