April 10 - 16, 2006
On Thursday Kostas attended the last session of the Math Club in his school.
Mom worked from home on Friday and stayed home with the kids since they both did not have school. Kostas is off all of next week as is pretty much every kid in all the school districts arounds us for Spring Vacation.
We had a gathering again at Tee's house on Friday night. Kostas had a sleep over with Kevin and Nathan and they proceeded to play themselves to sleep....at 2am!!
The guys who were supposed to fix our kitchen floor again let another week go by with nothing being done. We decided it was time for us to have a gathering on Saturday night, bad kitchen floor and everything. Dad proceeded to grill some mean ribs for everyone. We also invited neighbors Ken and Barb along with Karl and Angie (Ypsi native and Pakistani respectively) and their two boys who participate in the Otters Swimming Club. We proceeded to stuff ourselves along with discussion on cruises, diversity and kids/brats:-)
Earlier in the week Kostas started soccer practice again for the Rec League. Again Sam is the coach and a few kids are back from last year. The best part of the practices are that we don't have to race all the way across town since the practices are now held at Burns park which is very close to our home and has swings and playspace for Sophia! Dad can now proceed to assist Sam to give some soccer wisdom to the kids:-)
Here is Sophia with another mom watching her...needless to say, she loves soccer practice!

We did not visit Adrian this Easter, egg hunt was on Saturday at 1 when Dad had work to do.
On Easter Day Sunday, we decided to go to Windsor, Canada for Dim Sum at Jade restaurant, it was very good. The Bridge and tunnel to Canada was pretty fast this time, not much traffic on this holiday:

After the feast we visited the Queen Elizabeth II gardens to walk off some of the excess weight we acquired back at the restaurant:
