January 16 - 25, 2006
January 16 is Martin Luther King Day, holiday for government offices and schools and some businesses. Kostas spent some play time at Sean's house:

Mommy and Sophia left for Singapore/Malaysia on January 20. Saying goodbye in the Detroit airport.

During the stopover in Tokyo's Narita airport there was a snowstorm which caused the airport to shut down and all flights cancelled. The poor girls had to spend the night there and did not leave until 10 at night the next day, a total of 29 hours after scheduled departure, yikes! Not too happy about this mess. Dad sent a complaint letter to Northwest, let's see how they handle it.
On Saturday Dad and Kostas stopped by at the grand opening of LaSalle Bank's new mortgage office building where Bo Schembechler, the former UofM football coach, was signing autographs.

Kostas had his face painted there too.

Kostas went to his first basketball practice on Wednesday Jan 25. Vinny, our former neighbor, is in his team. The next day Dad and Kostas are flying to Singapore/Malaysia and of course aiming for bumps!
