Kostas spent the week at the Thinking Games Camp in Ann Arbor. It is done each summer by the chess instructor he had earlier in the year. They play chess, risk, stratego, othello, and many many other games. Kostas loved it!

Friday was last day at the Thinking Games Camp. Kostas got two trophies:

On Saturday Kostas beat his dad in Chess for the first time ever! This is what happens when he gets coached by the pros:-)

It was Art Fair this week in Ann Arbor. It is a time when thousands of people out of town invade Ann Arbor and make the locals' life miserable...just kidding. Parking was bad always, during Art Fair is just downright ridiculous.

Dad has been participating in the flyertalk website for five years or so. This is the website where people who are into the frequent flyer miles/points earning hobby gather. There are get togethers around the country but never participated in one. At last we did one this weekend. Dinner at Zanzibar on State Street in Ann ARbor, brunch at WebersInn on Sunday morning followed by a seminar by Mauricio on Mileage Runs and other miles related stuff. Incredible tips shared by Mauricio and the other fellow FTers. IT was good to finally meet in person so many who were only known by their online handle. Here is Mauricio in action:
