July 4 - 10, 2005

July 4 is a holiday, Independence Day. We went to Tee's house in Ann Arbor for a small get together. Thai, Singapore, Hong Kong, France, Greece, Malaysia, and Dexter were the locations of the participants...talk about a melting pot! Two pics from the party.

Dexter watching his son and Sophia:

They have a tent at their lawn:

Mom and Dad were invited on Thursday to EMU's University House to say goodbye to Dr. Willis, the outgoing EMU President. Very nice gathering and nice BBQ food served to us.

Later that night we all went to the Ann Arbor Top of the Park where we watched the Incredibles on the big screen outside. It was raining in the begining but the rain stopped around 10.30...we did not get home until almost 1 am! Sophia did not make it of course for all of the movie.

Lots of lazing around this weekend. Mom took the kids to the Hands on Museum on Saturday. Dad took Kostas to participate in Kumon's Math Challenge in Dearborn. A bunch of kids were there. We will get the results in September. If he somehow made it in the top 10 he wins money and he told us he is going to buy a PSP:-)

Simon and Maggie were around of course this weekend.
