June 6 - 12, 2005

This week is the last week for swimming class for Kostas. On Tuesday we visited his new school Estabrook Elementary which is located behind our house. We met with lots of his current classmates' parents there, it will be good to continue there with his friends.

On Thursday night Dad took Kostas to San Antonio in Texas to visit Schlitterbahn Water Park (20 miles north of San Antonio). We had a magical time there until we flew back on Sunday morning!

The main attaction in the East Side, three slides up there: Master Blaster (voted the best water ride in the country) Black Knight (all in the dark) and Wolf Pack (slower and more relaxing)

The park is built around the main river that runs through the town of New Braunfels, many people use it for sliding around in summer time:

This was the second best ride, Boogie Bahn! You go surfing just like the real thing, when you fall off you get blasted backwards and fall into the Back Splash, another fun wave ride:

Mom and Sophia, along with Simon and Maggie, were invited to Bern and May's parents' cottage in Caseville on Saturday where they spent the night and enjoyed swimming in the lake. We all came together in our house for dinner on Sunday and we watched the Pistons get their butt kicked by the San Antonio Spurs.
