The intruder/burglar/idiot for leaving behind his jacket and wallet who entered a neighbor’s house on last late Sunday night was caught by the police and will be soon having a home in the county jail. I hope they send him to drug treatment since it is very obvious he has a drug problem
Today was a great day for EMU Athletics and Men’s Basketball. An Ypsilanti native, grad of Ypsilanti High, former assistant at EMU and disciple of former EMU legendary coach Ben Braun, current assistant coach at the University of Michigan, was introduced as the new coach. Here is a pic from the press conference:

The weather was very nice this week. So nice in fact that Dad, Kostas and his friend Jacob rode the bikes to pick up Sophia from Humpty Dumpty Day Care.

On the way back home Kosta’s bike had an accident, the chain came off and we could not put it back. We had to go slow and pretty much walk the rest of the way back home..it took a lot longer! Dad took Kostas and Jacob to taekwondo class, Jacob really enjoyed getting a free lesson.
On Wednesday Dad sent Kostas at Jacob’s house and they, along with Jacob’s Dad Rex, rode the bikes to Gallup Park. While playing Jacob fell in the lake and looked more like a wet duck! On Wednesday night Lee went to pick her uncle from his Novi hotel, his training was finished.
On Thursday Dad took the uncle and Kostas to Ann Arbor downtown for lunch and then to the Panera/Barnes and Noble shopping complex. While Dad worked, Kostas had fun with Uncle looking at books and games at the Game Stop store. Uncle bought Kostas a Spiderman Game Boy game which Kostas, of course, loved! Thursday night it was dinner at May’s house.
Mom took a day off work on Friday. She went with Maggie to drop off her wedding license form and then they all went to Briarwood for some shopping with Uncle and the kids. Dinner was at Great Lakes restaurant.
Saturday morning Dad usually takes Kostas to taekwondo class and then Kumon class. Well, it was a bit too cold so we skipped taekwondo. At Kumon Kostas had to complete a survey. One question was what are two things you want to be when you grow up. He wrote: an archaelogist and a financial planner. Dad was thrilled…who knows one day he may take Dad's business over!! Uncle gave him (and Sophia) $20 and he put it in the INVEST slot of his new piggie bank, maybe this kid is really meant to be a financial planner afterall:-)
On Saturday night Mom took the kids to visit our former neighbor Diane…it had been quite a long time since our kids and their kids (Joey and twins Mikey and Jake) got together. Well Kostas had such a great time that he did not want to come back home and he insisted he stays overnight for a sleep over. Well he did and he did not miss us…this kid lives to play!
Uncle’s flight was cancelled so he spent an extra night at Simon’s house. On Sunday Mom took the kids and Uncle to Cabelas in Chelsea. Dad spent most of Sunday at EMU volunteering again for the Rotary Club. The event was PBA Tour, the professional bowling league. ESPN covered the event live, seeing how they converted the basketball arena to bowling alley was very interesting. Uncle was taken to the airport on Sunday night and his flight was delayed for an hour and he finally made it to New York where Mom’s brother Hee picked him up.
Sorry not many picks this week, got lazy.
