August 16 - September 1, 2008 Ludington Trip

Summer of 2008 is over as I write this as school has started. We had lots of fun this summer and we are glad that the kids are back in school at the same time!

Kostas has started his soccer practices with his United team already. 8 games already scheduled starting in September. It looks like Kostas will continue percussion lessons because playing the saxophone with his braces is too hard on him...or so he tells us.

Sophia finished her Day care at EMU Childrens Institute on August 22, it was a sad day.

We decided to take a short trip to Ludington in West Michigan, mostly because we were able to book a kids suite at the local Holiday Inn Express using a ridiculously low amount of 5,000 Priority Club points! Here are some pics from our room:






We had fun with Go-Karts!




We had a great time at the Ludington State Park, very highly recommended!

Decided to go canooing at the Gallup Park on Labor Day, we rode our bikes there, it was fun....We finally did this after talking about for something like 20 years:-)
