TO DAVID'S DAD (From the Ann Arbor Chess Club): We got your phone message, thanks but we can't get the phone number...Please give George a call or email if you want the kids to get together this week before Kostas heads to his cousins at New York on August 19 until Labor Day.


Too many kids signed up in Kosta's Under 10 soccer team so they had tryouts and, thankfully, Kostas made the cut! Practices every Tuesday and Thursday 6.30 pm to 8pm and 10 games in the season, five at home and five away.

Kostas spent the past few weeks with Dad along with a few days at Kieng and Tee playing with Kaving and Nathan...herehe is in our home playing with Ethan:


The soccer practices are at the Ford Heritage park where a brand new playground has been built and Sophia likes spending her time there.

On August 10 we had a small family celebration at home for Sophia's and Simon's birthdays:

Dad went and had his wisdom teeth taken out on Friday August 11...lots of pain killers over the weekend...Not bad overall.
