Jul 29 2004 - Honda

Yesterday Kosta's camp Escapade went on their weekly field trip.  This time they went to the Indepedence Lake Park north of Ann Arbor.  One of our bikes got a flat tire and we went to the new Kumon location about a mile south of the previous location, the Eagle Crest Conference Center .  Too bad, Sophia loved that red candy they used to have all over their rooms. Oh well, all good things must end sometime.

We got a siding contractor to come and give us a quote yesterday on installing some new siding in the front of our house, new gutters, and covering the wood all around the house.

Dad took the bike to the bike shop downtown and fixed the flat tire.  Dad took the Honda Odyssey van to the Honda Howard Cooper dealer for an oil change. While we waited Dad took a pic of Kostas and Sophia in front of some Honda items, here it is:

Kostas played with the kids at the neighborhood and later Dad took Sophia for a bike ride down to the Burns Park where she had a great time in the swings and the slides.  The bike ride took us by the high school behind our house where the basketball gym was wide open and Dad snuck in and shot some basketballs while Sophia was doing some of her moves, probably practicing her cheerleading skills.

Got to watch John Kerry on TV accepting the nomination to run against W.  Isn't it funny how all these politicians will say ANYTHING to get elected, I mean, W. in his campaigning was saying that his american foreign policy will be humble @#$%^&*(()0*! I wonder if Edwards is practicing his two thumbs up move against the mirror every morning. All kidding aside, I thought the speech was good and it will help...Oh, by the way, everyone: Hope is on the way ;-)
