June 2012

There goes June! School ended. Kostas got all As in his freshman year in Huron High School, hooray! Sophia finished 4th Grade and next year will spend the last year in the Allen Elementary School before she goes to Tappan Middle School. Time is just going waaaaay too fast! As promised, more pictures.

Kostas went to the Huron High School Crew Team Open House. We are looking into him joining the Crew team to keep busy in the coming school year. Unless he makes the Huron JV team which is unlikely as he does not play year round. Developments to come...

One night Mommy decided to play with our new Ipad and take pictures of Sophia around our house. Of course Sophia never said no to a camera!

The day before the final school day Daddy and Sophia biked to school, always a nice treat!

Sophia also finished 4th grade in the Greek School and graduated along with the other kids at the church:

On June 20th we said goodbye to our son Kostas who joined a People to People delegation to travel to Australia!! Lucky boy, we have not even been there yet and he is only 14 years old! I tol him "you leave as a boy, you will return as a man". We hope he enjoys his time and learns a lot about himself and the world. He contacted us several times to tell us he is loving this trip!!

Took mommy and Sophia to Columbus to visit Dad's client. We stayed one night in Columbus and one night in Toledo to take advantage of the Club Carlson generous hotel promo. In Toledo we ate pizza at Pizza Papalis  & watched the fireworks.
