The work in the new house continues...Painting is proceeding, yard is cleaned up, sprinkler system is winterized, handy man has fixed some things that came up in the inspection report, meetings with interior designer and about to order some furniture...Lots more next week, will it ever end? :-)
Our friend works as an engineer at Nissan. As part of his job he gets to drive cool cars of the competition. This time he is driving a Lexus LS600hL, only 1,000 made and each one costs only $125,000. He gave us a ride, amazing perfection:-)
The Dragons easily beat the Howell Revolution team 10-2 with Kostas scoring 3 goals. We finished 7-1 along with two other teams, Farmington Flash and Dearborn Arsenal. It was amazingly close since we scored 52 and let in 19 goals (differential +33), Farmington scored 51 and let in 19 (differential +32) and Arsenal scored 44 and let in 14 (differential +30). So, the tradition continues with yet another championship. And the kids wished we had another shot at Farmington Flash to play them since they clearly think that losing that game 3-2 in the last 5 minutes was a fluke since we dominated play most of the game....Oh well, it was another great year and now we are on to indoor soccer at Wide World on Sundays (Kostas will miss 4 of the 8 games due to Chinese school class).
